Supplier financing is a form of trade credit financing available to manufacturing companies and distributors (learn more). Your company must meet the following requirements to qualify for this solution.
1. Be a manufacturer or product supplier
Supplier financing is available only to manufacturing companies and distributors. The solution helps finance the costs of purchasing goods from suppliers.
2. Be credit insurable by Euler Hermes
Supplier financing is a form of trade credit. We can provide this solution only to companies that are insurable by Euler Hermes. Unfortunately, we cannot provide this financing to companies that do not qualify for credit insurance.
3. Be based in Canada or the United States
We can work only with companies based in Canada or the United States.
4. Sell a minimum of $2,000,000 per year
We can help small and midsized companies. Your company must sell a minimum of $2,000,000 per year. The facility is selective, meaning that clients use it only when (and if) they need it. However, we prefer to work with companies that will use the facility regularly.
5. Have at least three (3) years of operations history
We can work only with established companies. Your company must have at least three years’ worth of operations. All of its manufacturing and supply chain processes should be well defined.
6. Provide accurate financial statements
As part of our analysis, we review your company’s financial statements. We usually ask for the most recent:
- Profit and loss statements
- Balance sheet
- Accounts payable report
- Accounts receivable report
- Cash flow statement
7. Have product liability insurance
Your company must be adequately insured. As part of its insurance policies, it must have an appropriate product liability policy.
8. Have existing and working relationships with suppliers
Our solution can be used only to finance purchases from existing suppliers. We can consider new suppliers on a case-by-case basis.
